Your choice

Maps and videos are off until you allow them.

This page explains what IPIQA stores on your device when you visit this website, why, and how you can change your choice. Last updated: 12 October 2026.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Websites can also save small notes in your browser's own storage. Both let a site remember something between one page and the next.

What this website stores

We keep this to the minimum the site needs. These are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them.

ipiqa_website_session (cookie)Keeps the site working as you move between pages and send a form. It is also what keeps our staff signed in to the site's editor.Until you close your browser

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies.

Maps and videos from other companies

The map in our Contact section comes from Google Maps, and some of our tips show a video from YouTube or Vimeo. When one of these loads, that company can set its own cookies and can see that your device asked for it.

These stay switched off until you allow them. Until then you see a box with a button in their place, and nothing is requested from those companies. If you allow them, we remember that for 6 months.

What those companies do with their cookies is covered by their own policies: Google (Maps and YouTube) and Vimeo.

Files loaded from other services

To show its fonts, icons and layout, this site loads files from Google Fonts, cdnjs and jsDelivr. These services do not set cookies through this site, but like any web server they receive your device's internet address when your browser asks for a file.

Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and the app stores are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those companies unless you click one.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or with the button at the top of this page. If you switch maps and videos off, the page reloads so they stop loading.

You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you delete ours, we will ask for your choice again on your next visit.
